Find home education communities, advice and support
Looking for UK home ed Facebook groups? We've gathered a selection of communities where parents and carers can ask questions, share experiences and find information about home education. You'll find general support groups alongside more specialised communities covering SEND, exams and qualifications, unschooling, flexi-schooling, local authority contact and organised activities. Many Facebook groups are private, so you'll usually need to request membership, answer the joining questions and agree to the group rules.
Finding local home education groups. Many areas have their own Facebook groups for home educating families, where parents share details of meet-ups, activities, trips, local tutors and opportunities to socialise. Try searching for your county or nearest town alongside 'home education' or 'home ed'. You may also find smaller groups dedicated to particular ages, interests or regular activities.
